On June 20 we commemorate the passing of its creator, Manuel Belgrano, who passed away on that day in 1820. The date was established by law 12.361 on June 8 1938. In addition, on said date we also commemorate the creation of the flag that took place on february 23 1812 during the quest for the independence of the United Provincies of the Río de la Plata.
