The Argentine Government expresses its solidarity with the Lebanese People and Government for the loss of lives caused by the explosion of a tanker  truck in the region of Akkar, north of the country.

The Argentine Government sends its condolences to the families of the victims and hopes for the speedy recovery of those wounded.

The Argentine Embassy in Beirut has informed that no member of the Argentine community has been reported to be wounded or among the fatal victims of the explosion.
