Through General Resolution 4/2026 of the General Inspectorate of Justice (RESOG-2026-4-APN-IGJ#MJ), the regulations applicable to companies incorporated abroad that operate or wish to invest in Argentina are updated and simplified. The main points of the regulation are: - The submission of documents from abroad in apostilled digital format is now permitted, eliminating the need to send original paper documents from abroad. - The submission of the consolidated text of the current articles of incorporation, certified by a notary public or the registry authority of the jurisdiction of origin, is now allowed in lieu of amendments, without requiring copies and translations of all previous documents. - The registration of the foreign company and the incorporation of the local company can be processed simultaneously. This means that the registration of the foreign company and the incorporation of the new local company in which it will participate can be managed in parallel, reducing the time required to enter the market. Therefore, as of this resolution, the process for a company wishing to participate as a partner in an Argentine company will be streamlined and take less time than before.
