FAMILY REUNIFICATION VISA REQUIREMENTS (PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY)
The estimated processing time for visa applications is 21 days from the day of the consular interview. Requests made less than 21 days in advance of the travel date will not be accepted. This Embassy returns the passport to the holder after the consular interview is completed and does not keep it during the processing of the application.
- WHO MAY APPLY FOR A FAMILY REUNIFICATION VISA?
- Spouses, parents and children of ARGENTINES NATIONALS, either NATIVE, NATIONALIZED or BY OPTION.
- Spouses, parents and unmarried children under eighteen (18) years of age, not emancipated and children over 18 years of age with disabilities, of FOREIGNERS with a PERMANENT or TEMPORARY RESIDENCE.
- DNM ENTRY PERMIT OR CONSULAR ENTRY PERMIT:
- In case of having an Entry Permit (Permiso de Ingreso) issued by the National Directorate of Migrations (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones), it must be assigned to the EMBASSY OF THE ARGENTINE REPUBLIC IN LEBANON.
- If you do NOT have an Entry Permit issued by the National Directorate of Migrations, you must pay the processing fee for a Consular Entry Permit by credit card at the website of the National Directorate of Migrations, https://dnm.provincianet.com.ar/. On the day his/her visa is issued, the applicant must present the proof of payment generated by the web system, which contains the corresponding ticket number. APPLICANTS MUST NOT PAY THIS FEE UNTIL THEY RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THEIR VISA IS APPROVED.
- The following are exempt from the payment of this fee: a) those who certify states of indigence, in accordance with current regulations; b) unmarried children under eighteen (18) years of age who apply for a residence together with one of their parents; c) foreigners who prove more than thirty (30) years of permanence in Argentina.
- REQUIREMENTS:
1. Complete application form with two 4x4 photographs, front, white background. DO NOT OMIT ANY OF THE FIELDS OF THE FORM.
2. Valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the day you plan to enter Argentina. It must have at least one completely blank page.
3. Document/identity card of the applicant.
4. Original copy of the document that proves the relationship between the Argentine citizen or foreign national residing in Argentina and the applicant (birth or marriage certificate, as the case may be). If said document has been issued abroad, it must have the legalization of the corresponding Argentine consular office or be apostilled and have an official translation into Spanish.
5. Applicants over sixteen (16) years of age: Certificate of No Conviction issued by the competent authorities of the countries where the they have resided for more than one (1) year in the course of the previous three (3) years, dated up to three months before the granting of the visa, legalized by the corresponding Argentine consular office or apostilled and with an official translation into Spanish.
6. Sworn declaration regarding the lack of an international criminal record (the declaration is printed and signed at the Embassy).
7. Photocopy of the National Identity Document (DNI) of the Argentine citizen or foreign national residing in Argentina who requests the applicant’s entry into Argentina.
8. Certificate of Address (Certificado de Domicilio) of the Argentine citizen or foreign national residing in Argentina who requests the applicant’s entry into Argentina, issued by the Police Station closest to his address, legalized by the Ministry of the Interior.
9. Photocopy of the Citizenship Card (Carta de Ciudadanía), if the person requesting the applicant’s entry into Argentina is a naturalized Argentine.
10. Original family book of Lebanese applicants.
- IMPORTANT:
a) After the consular interview, the consular officer may request, if deemed necessary, submitting additional documentation.
b) The documentation must be translated into Spanish.
c) The visa applicant must personally attend the Embassy to be interviewed by a consular officer. An appointment for the consular interview will only be given when the applicant has all the necessary documentation.
d) All travelers are advised to make only air reservations and not to purchase tickets prior to visa issuance.
Fee: USD 250 (includes a USD 100 application fee that must be paid regardless of whether the visa is issued or not).
Consular Entry Permit: - USD 600 for non-Mercosur nationals.
- USD 300 for Mercosur nationals.
