In order to be legalized by this Consular Section, Lebanese documents must be previously stamped by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants.

If you already have an appointment to sign a Power of Attorney before this Consular Section and wish to submit documentation to be legalized, you may do both without the need to ask for a new appointment. In such case, it will not be necessary to complete the legalization request form.

It is essential that you fill in the application form thoroughly, not leaving any personal information blank. You should be specially clear on the ultimate motives why you request a document to be legalized. Answers such as "my lawyer is requesting it" or "I need to have the documents legalized" are not valid and your request will be disregarded.
